Sport First Aid
This Sports First Aid course covers a comprehensive range of topics to prepare participants to administer emergency first aid care for medical emergencies that can happen in a sports setting. The onsite course can be adapted to emphasize dealing with accidents that are likely to occur in their sport.

Sports First Aid training is designed for coaches, instructors, teachers, supervisors, sports assistants, and volunteers. This course is popular with GAA, hurling, football, soccer, tennis, volleyball, swimming, golf, running, athletic, cycling, dancing clubs etc. This course is also very suitable for gyms and fitness centres, as participants can support their first aid responders.
The recognition, assessment, and immediate onsite management of sports injuries are crucial to facilitate rehabilitation and to minimise further risk of harm to the athlete. Importantly, participants will also know how to recognise when professional medical referral is warranted.

Fully compliant Training Certificate valid 2 years (subject to passing course assessment) and receipt issued after training course.
