Course Objectives

• Explain the importance of assignment instructions and patrol duties

• Identify and perform access control procedures effectively

• Recognise responsibilities at reception and gatehouse locations

• Understand the legal and procedural aspects of conducting searches

• Respond appropriately when property is found or searches are refused

• Use radios effectively and understand report writing fundamentals

• Communicate clearly and professionally in different scenarios

• React to emergencies using the 4Cs method (Confirm, Clear, Cordon, Control)

• Understand the steps to be followed after making an arrest
