Off Road Off Road 4x4
Fleet Safety courses have been designed to raise driver awareness, concentration and observation skills and anticipate the probable actions of other road users and encourage best practice driver training skills on our roads. Our courses are delivered in conjunction with our partner company CPL Institute.
Off Road 4 x 4 Training is for drivers who are engaged in forestry, construction, environmental, engineering and communications work, using a 4 X 4 vehicle is a necessity. Most Off-Road incidents occur when a driver, through lack of confidence and training changes their mind during a manoeuvre. This course contains both a theory and practical element.
The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 includes the company vehicle as a place of work and states that ’every employer shall ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the safety, health and welfare at work of his or her employees’.
