Vehicle Banksman Training
Fleet Safety courses have been designed to raise driver awareness, concentration and observation skills and anticipate the probable actions of other road users and encourage best practice driver training skills on our roads. Our courses are delivered in conjunction with our partner company CPL Institute.
This course should be taken by all truck drivers and any person responsible for assisting drivers whilst manoeuvring their vehicle before loading / unloading e.g. Refuse truck assistants. It also recommended for persons who guide large vehicles in depots or yards and confined spaces.
No of participants 3 persons per half day.
Cost: €390
Please note This course is NOT construction related.
On completion of the course participants will be:
- Aware of employers and employees responsibilities in relation to safety
- Familiar with what Protection Personal Equipment (PPE) to be used for Personal Safety
- Able to identify the hazards and risks of being a Banksman Operator
- Able to identify potential danger areas within your site
- Able to demonstrate hand signals / safe standing positions
